Screen Developments

More developments include laser cutting three small panels of oak ply to see the difference between the clean lines of routing and the burned edges of the laser cut pieces . These were cleaned up using wire wool . The first image shows a dust pattern revealed when the screens were lifted from the bench.The image on the left shows the left and right panels cut from the same piece of ply creating an interesting symetrical pattern of its own .On a larger scale I prefer the clean routed lines but apparently there is a laser jet process that is cleaner .
