The first succesfull panel

Today the first successful panel came off the router only two more to go and then the task of sanding those intricate shapes and finding a suitable finish . I have had a word with Aaron who make furniture and he uses a natural wood oil to preserve his wood . This is wiped on and three coats are advisable . I also need to think about the proportions of the frame and the hinges .
